The bare naked truth is that my undying love affair with extreme procrastination was the ultimate reason for my attendance at CSC. I had about 6 schools all lined up; every admissions application filled out, the money to back up the apps. ready, my Highschool transcripts copied and neatly stapled to the back of each college packet. The only thing left to do, was to write my college essay.
It was daunting.
This was my brief chance to actually say something. This was the only opportunity i had to send something away to schools, that wasn't numbered and restricted to letters in little boxes. But, deadlines would creep up and strangle my sense of freedom. My solution to not knowing how to define my being in 500 words or less? Simple; i scratched the schools from my list, one by one. Colby-Sawyers deadline was the latest: April 14.
Stellar.
