My plan for high school changed just before coming to Colby-Sawyer College, and since then it has pretty much stayed the same. More about that during class
I had a lot of plans in high school: elementary school teacher, vet for large cats in zoos (lions and tigers), architect, and finally nurse. I wanted to help people, and I wanted job security.
But I'm a germophobe... so that only lasted one semester of college. Then I decided I wanted to be an English major because I didn't know what I wanted to be in my professional life and I liked literature. Then I got a work study job at the library, and I remembered one of my earliest career goals from when I was just a little kid: librarian. And that's what I am today (okay, not quite, but I'm getting there), and I still will be helping people. I'll be helping by providing information, which I honestly feel is a very valuable service.

My response from class on 9/18:
